I'm a WINNER!!

My 50,131 word novel has been entered in the anals of quickly written fiction. You can go see it (meaning my name, in a section of a website) at the nanowrimo.org site.
Or you can even click here to go directly to my name in a web page.
I'm really surprised at how calm and pleased I am. I started on the 12th, after an exhausting (and disappointing) campaign season, and then a foolish procrastination centered around distraction and my birthday. Then I didn't even do the words I needed to catch up. With a huge push on Saturday, I set myself up for 5600 words a day, and just clanked through them.
The novel is less than it could have been. I had some really exciting things that I completely kludged through, but heck, that's the point. I may clean it up, but I don't feel like I need to. The point was to do it.
One last point: You can leave in the table of contents for wordcount, as long as you nobly remove your utterly silly 77-word appendix of the 10 characters and their genders.
