We settled on the 27th. Right now, the floors are being refinished so we can't go into most of the rooms. We're going over to fix some paint this moring, though. Here are some pictures of house. They were taken while 7 nieces and nephews were running wild through it, so it was well inaugerated.
Our realtor was Lisa Young, and we highly recommend her. She works at Weichert, which apparently doesn't list her on their website. Weird. Unlike one's stereotype of the usual realtor (which for some reason they're putting a registered mark on these days) of pushy and fake, she was really chill, thoughtful, intelligent, and, of course, found us the house we wanted. :)
All we think about these days is House. House House House. I look through magazines just to enable my daydreams of House. It still hasn't sunk in that we have this other place, that by all conventions (though not technically, because of the mortgage) we OWN. Mindblowing.
